Dear Friends,

Welcome and thank you for visiting! It is my hope that this website will provide you, the voters of Coles County, with enough information to allow you to make an informed decision at the November 7, 2006 election for Coles County Clerk.

I am passionate about where I live. And one of the events that have helped shape that passion was the terrorist attack of 2001. I was in Washington D.C. on 9/11, working for then Congressman David Phelps. I witnessed the aftermath of the tragedy. This horrible event renewed my sense of purpose, and I returned home to Coles County believing that, if we all work together, we have the potential to make an immediate and positive difference in the world around us.

I believe that as Coles County Clerk I can help make this difference. Unlike many of the other local elected officials, the County Clerk is a full time position. My pledge to you, the voters, is that I will work overtime time to ensure open, accessible, and responsive government in Coles County. This campaign is about all of us. It's Your County!
